Ynyshir

Ynyshir is a destination restaurant with rooms located on the Cambrian Coast near Machynlleth. The surrounding scenery is spectacular, with its wild sandy beaches, ancient pines and water-pummelled hills. So much so that Queen Victoria acquired the handsome white painted house as a hidden retreat. The undulating grounds are lovely and lead to the RSPB Ynys Hir Nature Reserve at the head of the Dovey estuary. One of the most exciting chefs in the UK, Patron Gareth Ward is a true culinary alchemist and people travel from far and wide to make the pilgrimage to his restaurant. Expect a meal of a lifetime.
