Boath House is a romantic Georgian house lovingly restored by its owners Don and Wendy Matheson, renowned for its great Scottish food. Garden-lovers will also be seduced by the impressive grounds and walled garden. It’s whisky-themed library and fireplaces offer lots of intimate spaces to relax. Great food is the focus here, much of which is grown in the kitchen garden, filled with organic fruit, herbs and vegetables. Not surprisingly the local fish is a highlight but make sure you try the smoked haddock and poached egg on a soda scone at breakfast.
